I discovered this restaurant through a Facebook post, and I’m so glad I did! From the moment we walked in, Estefania made us feel incredibly welcome with her warm and friendly service. We ordered the whole fried fish, crab cakes, grilled shrimp, coleslaw, potato salad, and mango salad and every single dish was outstanding. Everything was fresh, perfectly seasoned, and cooked to perfection. The flavors were amazing, and the entire meal exceeded our expectations. Excellent food, exceptional service, and an overall wonderful dining experience. We will definitely be back and highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a delicious meal!

Exceptional fresh fish dishes that are prepared the way you like it. The seasonings were delicious. You must try the fresh Dolphin, Pumpkin swordfish to name a few. Waitstaff was friendly and courteous. Will go again! The tropical themed murals on the walls were bright and pleasing to view!

I enjoyed the whimsical decor. The smoke fish dip was SO good that we should have ordered some too go. It came with bell peppers and jalapeños. We prefered to have just the bell pepper with it. For dinner I opted for grilled hogfish with rice with cauliflower. They offer the fish to be grilled, blackened, crab stuffed or pistachio crushed. The waitress recommended the grilled so I listened.....big mistake. The cauliflower was good. And while the hog fish tasted fresh, it was totally flavorless, and so was the rice. I was extremely disappointed to say the least. I don't mind paying for good food but this was a waste of my $40. My daughter ordered one of the specials which was the Coconut Crab Crusted Mahi with rice. Chef's kiss!!! That coconut sauce was DELICIOUS. It's a wonder both dishes came from the same kitchen. All in all, despite my bland food, I would certainly revisit Calypso.

If you're looking a hidden, home-style seafood gem, I recommend Calypso. First and foremost, the island vibes and staff hospitality are comforting just like all of the food they serve. I've been to Calypso before, and this time I got some clams on the half shell, conch fritters and an island-style curry. All of the food was seasoned beautifully and very well cooked. I have nothing more to say than this place is great.

Fantastic local place for best seafood in the country! Love the blackened swordfish and whatever else is freshly caught for the day. Raw oysters were great and the scallops delicious! Highly recommend! Can't wait to come back and sample Curry and Roti! Also have vegetarian options! ❤️
